Avery Dennison Performance Tapes has announced its Core Series Portfolio Tape Selector App. The app is designed to make it easy for converters and their customers to identify a variety of Avery Dennison Performance Tapes adhesive technologies best suited for their applications.

“The Avery Dennison Core Series Portfolio is intended to make product selection easy for converters, so they can respond promptly to their customers’ application needs,” says Deanne Lewis, product manager – Converter Channel, Avery Dennison Performance Tapes. “When we launched the portfolio a few years ago, we developed a hard copy product selection tool that walked users through the adhesive selection process. The tool was very helpful, but our customers asked if we could develop a digital version, so we did. Our goal is to make it as easy for our customers to do business with us, resulting in faster quotes to their customers. Responsiveness is the key to winning business.”

The Core Series Tape Selection App allows users to digitally navigate and determine the best suited tape construction for their application from the Core Series Portfolio — which features 44 constructions from 11 pressure sensitive adhesive technology categories. Using a four-step process, the Tape Selector App quickly and simply delivers converters the critical information they need to effectively quote their customers’ project. In addition to obtaining product recommendations, users have the ability to request product samples, pricing and meetings directly on the app.

The Core Series Tape Selector App is available for desktop, Android and IOS devices. The desktop version is accessible at https://coreseries-tape-selection-app.averydennison.com. The Android and IOS versions can be accessed via Google Play and the App Store.
